History

1951 The Company opened its first leaf spring plant not far from Mexico City in Ecatepec, the State of Mexico.
1970 Rassini exported its first shipment of suspensions to the United States.
1974 Rassini opened its first leaf spring plant in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, near the U.S. border.
1979 A group of Mexican investors headed by Antonio Madero Bracho acquired control of the Minas de San Luis mining company. Having been traded on the Mexican Stock Exchange since 1967, the new owners changed the name to Industrias Luismin.
1980 Rassini built springs plant in Piedras Negras, Coahuila.
1984 The organization was restructured in 1984 becoming Corporacion Industrial SANLUIS, S.A. de C.V..
Rassini opened its Technological Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
1988 Corporacion Industrial SANLUIS diversified its business interests by purchasing Rassini and its plant in Ecatepec, the State of Mexico; two in Piedras Negras, Coahuila; and an advanced design, engineering and customer service center in Michigan, USA.
1990 Rassini began expanding its leaf spring plant in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, and started operations at a torsion bar plant and coil spring plant. The following year, 1991, the company launched two new products into the market: parabolic leaf springs and torsion bars.
1994 A restructuring within the Company resulted in its stock being traded publicly on the Mexican Stock Exchange under the ticker names SANLUIS, SANLUIS CPO and SANLUIS A.
1994 Rassini made two strategic acquisitions - the Automanufacturas, S.A. de C.V. facility built in 1976, which is now the modern SANLUIS Rassini Brakes Development; and the Bujes y Autopartes Automotrices, S.A., known today as BYPASA. 
1995 SANLUIS was listed as an industrial exporter on the Mexican Stock Exchange.
Rassini added a new line of automotive products to its portfolio: trunk lid bars and stabilizing bars.
1996 Shareholders agreed to change the name of the corporate parent to SANLUIS Corporacion, and it Autoparts Division to SANLUIS Rassini.
For the Brake Business, SANLUIS Rassini formed a strategic alliance with the Italian-based Brembo, S.p.A, the global leader in the design and sale of high technology brake systems.
SANLUIS Rassini further expanded the reach of its suspension business through a joint acquisition with NHK Spring of Japan of two suspension system and components companies in Brazil, resulting in the creation of Rassini NHK Autopecas, the leading spring producer in the South American market.
Nov. 1997 SANLUIS Corporacion opened yet another suspension plant in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, this one for light vehicles.
1997 The Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro plants (Rassini NHK Autopecas) obtained QS-9000 certification.
1998 As of the beginning of this year, SANLUIS Rassini products were used in 70% of the top selling sport utility vehicles in North America and Mexico.
1999 The suspension business consolidated its position as being the largest producer of suspensions for pick-ups; the undisputed leader in the NAFTA market, and a global technological leader with more than 13.5 million pieces sold. Additionally, the SANLUIS Rassini Brakes Development achieved VDA 6.1 - A.1, 4th Edition certification.
2000 SANLUIS Corporacion announced a 3-year, USD 70 million capital investment program after a fresh infusion of USD 56.3 million from Chase Capital Partners (CCP) now JP Morgan Partners (JPMP) and American Industrial Partners (AIP).
2001 The Technical Center concludes a USD 5 million, two-year investment program focused on advanced testing equipment and software.
2002 In response to a strategy to consolidate the auto parts business, the organization SANLUIS sold-off its mining business in 2002.
General Motors chose SANLUIS Rassini's manufacturing operation in Mexico to receive its GM Supplier of the Year award for the eighth consecutive year. The company's plants in Brazil received it three times.
2003 SANLUIS Rassini opened its new automotive coil spring plant, Rassini Chassis Systems, in Montpelier, Ohio. 
2013 Completed construction of a facility in Flint, Michigan, U.S. to machine brake rotors.
2014 Established a plant in Mt. Morris Township, Michigan, U.S. for brake components.
Changed company name from Sanluis Corporation, S.A.B. de C.V. to Rassini, S.A.B. de C.V.
2020 Delisted from the Mexican Stock Exchange and became into a limited liability company.
