Dec. 1946 Established Nippon Seiki Co., Ltd. in a town that what was formerly called Zaoh (currently Matsuba), Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture.
Started manufacturing and sales of clocks and instruments (meters).
Oct. 1951 Established new main plant in Kita-Nakajima (currently Nakajima Town), Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture and moved head office to the site.
Sep. 1955 Moved head office and plant to Nishi-Shinmachi (currently Shirooka), Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture.
Dec. 1970 Moved head office and plant to the present location.
