History

1946 Foundation by J.A.M Burgman, Inalfa started in the Netherlands.
1974 Started production of sunroofs
1995 Decision to form separate business unit, Roof systems and Metal business.
1997 Established roof systems and metal business as two separate companies.
2006 Opened its factory in Yantai, China.
2011 Established a plant in Slovakia (2010) as well as in Mexico (2011).
Sold to the Chinese company Beijing Hainachuan Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. (BHAP).
Apr. 2013 Established a plant in Chongqing and Lanfang in China.
Jul. 2014 Opened its new plant in Wrzesnia, Poland.
Nov. 2014 Opened its new assembly facility in Cherokee County, Georgia, USA.
Jul. 2015 Opened its new plant in Jiading, Shanghai, China.
Apr. 2016 Officially opened its new headquarters in Venray, the Netherlands.
