Executive Summary

Six Chinese private equity-backed car manufacturers, BYD Auto, Geely Holding Group, Chery Automobile, Great Wall Motor, Lifan Motors and Jianghuai Automobile (JAC), showcased a total of approximately 80 models including around 32 environmentally friendly vehicles like HEVs and EVs and others around 48 new volume production models at the Beijing Motor Show 2010 (held from April 23 to May 2).

The following outlines a total of 44 models out of approximately 80 exhibited models, extracting 21 ecological models mainly claimed to be their first introductions, and another 23 new mass-production models planned to enter production and sales from 2010 to 2013. In addition, the exhibits by other Chinese private equity-backed car manufacturers will be outlined in future reports.

BYD Auto: six new models including the e6 (EV) to be released in the US in 2010

Environmentally friendly models: the e6 (EV) and new F3DM (PHEV)

Exhibit	Summary
e6 (EV)	The model is an EV version of a crossover. The lithium iron phosphate lithium-ion battery which drives the vehicle is manufactured in-house and delivers a rated output of 75kW and maximum torque of 450Nm with combined motor. The fuel efficiency (with electricity expenditure rate) is 21.5kWh/100km. The model has a top speed of 140km per hour and is capable of running up to around 300km on a full charge. At an exclusive charging station, an 80% quick charge is finished in 15min. Using household electricity, a full charge takes seven hours. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,560mm, 1,822mm, 1,630mm and 2,830mm, respectively. The gross vehicle mass is 2,295kg.
	The model is expected to be launched in the US by the end of 2010 with a price tag of around 40,000 USD. There are also plans for it to be released in China with 2010 as the target (an application has been filed for governmental approval). The selling price in China is planned to be approximately 200,000 RMB.
	A driving test of the e6 TAXI, a taxi version, is planned to start in limited areas such as Shenzhen city, Guangdong province. The exhibition included a 220V charging station (which costs a little less than 10,000 RMB to manufacture) and a quick charge station (also costs around one million RMB) as well as the completed vehicle.
F3DM 2010 model (PHEV)	The model is a series type PHEV based on the F3 sedan. It is a new version for public users, with a new solar panel sunroof, based on a conventional F3DM which has been sold exclusively for fleet users since 2008. It was released in March 2010 with a price tag of 169,800 RMB.
	A full charge by household electricity takes nine hours, and an 80% quick charge at an exclusive charging station is finished in 15min. It is capable of running 60km in the EV mode, and 330km as a HEV on a full charge. The top speed is 150km/h. The energy efficiency marks 16kWh/100km. The overall length, width and height measure 4,533mm, 1,705mm and 1,520mm.
	The BYD hybrid system (maximum output of 125kW/maximum torque of 400Nm) which is referred to as DM (dual mode) employs a BYD-made lithium iron phosphate lithium-ion battery module (which consists of 100 cells, has a capacity of 20kWh, weighs 20kg and allows repeating 2,000 times of charge and discharge according to the company), two driving permanent magnet synchronous motors, with a maximum output of 50kW and 25kW, respectively, and a 1.0L 3-cylinder engine with maximum output of 50kW. The system also includes regenerative brakes.

Exhibit	Summary
i6	The medium-high class flagship (B class sedan) has been newly introduced. There are plans to release it in August 2010. The selling price is expected to be around 150,000 RMB. The model employs a 2.0L displacement engine produced in-house and a CVT adopted by BMW. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,860mm, 1,825mm, 1,463mm and 2,745mm.
L3	The model is a new sedan which was introduced for the first time at the show. It is expected to be released by October 2010 with a price tag of over 120,000 RMB. It will have a 1.5 or 1.8 L 4-cylinder engine produced in-house combined with a 5-speed MT or CVT with sport-mode. The electrically powered sunroof, radar system for reverse parking and the NAVI system are also onboard. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,568mm, 1,716mm, 1,480mm and 2,615mm.
M6	The model is a MPV with seven seats. It is expected to be released in October 2010 with a price to be set at around 200,000 RMB. The model is powered by a 2.0L engine produced in-house or 2.4L engine (Mitsubishi's 4G69). A parking radar system with six sensors is installed. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,820mm, 1,810mm, 1,765mm and 2,960mm.
S6	The model is the company's first city-use SUV (B class) introduced for the first time. There are plans to release it in October 2010. The selling price is expected to be around 200,000 RMB. It will have a 2.4L engine (Mitsubishi's 4G69) combined with an AT, or a 2.0L engine produced in-house combined with a MT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,810mm, 1,855mm, 1,680mm and 2,720mm.

BYD Auto's i6: The medium-high class model (B class sedan),
the flagship of the company, comes with a 2.0L engine.

BYD Auto's L3: There are plans to release the new sedan with a 1.5L or 1.8L engine in 2010.

Gleagel EK-2 (EV)	The model is Geely's second-generation high performance EV hatchback (4-seater version) based on the Panda. There are plans to begin volume production in the near future and it will be released in June 2010 at the earliest. It reaches a maximum range of 180km at cruising speed. The maximum speed is 150km/h while the energy efficiency (electricity consumption rate) is 12kWh/100km. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 3,598mm, 1,630mm, 1,465mm and 2,340mm.
Gleagel EK-2 (EV)	The installed AC induction motor works at rated voltage of 200V and produces a maximum output of 60kW and a maximum torque of 180Nm. The secondary battery for driving, a lithium iron phosphate lithium-ion battery (with a voltage of 326V and capacity of 57.5Ah). It takes six hours to charge the battery fully, and an 80% quick charge takes 18min.
Emgrand GPECs-EC7 (PHEV)	The model is a "GPECs" (Geely Serial Plug-in Electric Cars) series PHEV sedan (with five seats). It is based on the Emgrand EC718. It cruises up to 850km on a full charge (up to 50km in solely EV mode). The top speed is 150km/h. There are plans to begin volume production of the model at the Ningbo plant in Zhejiang province around August 2010. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,635mm, 1,789mm, 1,470mm and 2,650mm.
Emgrand GPECs-EC7 (PHEV)	The hybrid system (works at 336V) combines a 1.0L 3-cylinder engine produced in-house (with maximum output of 50kW and maximum torque of 90Nm), a lithium iron phosphate lithium-ion battery (with capacity of 40Ah), a permanent magnet synchronous motor (70kW and 240Nm) for driving, an ISG motor (14kW and 50Nm), a regenerative brake system and a single speed type transmission etc.
Emgrand GPEC-EC8 (PHEV)	The model is a "GPEC" parallel type PHEV sedan (C class five-seater version) based on the Emgrand EC825. There are plans to start volume production at the Jinan plant in Shandong province in the near future. It has a range of up to 1,060km (up to 60km in solely EV mode). The maximum speed is 150km/h. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,905mm, 1,830mm, 1,495mm and 2,805mm,.
Emgrand GPEC-EC8 (PHEV)	The hybrid system (works at 336V) consists of a 1.0L 3-cylinder gasoline engine (with maximum output of 50kW and maximum torque of 90Nm) for driving, a lithium iron phosphate lithium-ion battery (with capacity of 40Ah), a permanent magnet synchronous motor (rated output of 30kW/maximum 70kW and rated torque of 120Nm/maximum 300Nm) and a single speed type transmission etc.
Englon TXN (GSG/PHEV)	The model debuted at the show. It is a hybrid version taxi model (1+1+3 seats) based on the Englon TX4, a volume production model. There are plans to start production at the Shanghai plant in 2012 at the earliest. Two types of model are proposed: 1) a micro hybrid version and 2) a series type PHEV version.
	The former 1) version combines a 1.3L (with turbo charger), 1.8L or 2.0L gasoline engine or 2.0L 4-cylinder diesel engine, a 5MT, 6MT, 6AT, or 7DCT and the Geely GSG (Geely intelligent Stop-Go system) (see note). The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,357mm, 1,800mm, 1,595mm and 2,700mm.
	The latter 2) version employs the "GPECs" series type PHEV (works at 336V). The system uses a 1.0L 3-cylinder engine produced in-house (with a maximum output of 50kW and maximum torque of 90Nm) for charging, a lithium iron phosphate lithium-ion battery (with capacity of 40Ah), a permanent magnet synchronous motor (70kW/240Nm) for driving, an ISG motor (14kW/50Nm), a single-speed type transmission, as well as a regenerative brake system. The cruising range in the EV mode is a maximum of 60km, while the gasoline engine's electric generation allows a range of up to 800km.

Gleagel GX2 GSG (GC2-RV)	The model debuted at the show. It is a micro-hybrid version of a mini-sized crossover (with five seats) based on the Panda. In September 2010, the model will be put on the production line at the Linhai plant in Zhejiang province. It runs on the Geely GSG and a 1.0L, 1.3 L or 1.5L engine produced in-house (five versions in all) combined with a 5-speed MT or 4-speed AT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 3,813mm, 1,630mm, 1,530mm and 2,340mm.
Gleagel GC5 GSG (CE-2)	The model is a micro-hybrid version of a sedan (with five seats) destined for Europe. Around November 2010, production of the model will begin at the Luqiao plant in Zhejiang province. It runs on the Geely GSG and a 1.3L or 1.5L 4-cylinder engine (four versions in all) combined with a 5-speed MT or 4-speed AT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,290mm, 1,745mm, 1,504mm and 2,461mm.
Gleagel GV5 GSG (CE-3)	The model is a micro-hybrid version of a compact crossover (with seven seats). Around 2011, it will start production at the Xiangtan plant in Hunan province. It runs on the Geely GSG in combination with a 1.3 L or 1.5L β-series 4-cylinder engine and a 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, 4-speed AT or 7-speed DCT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,360mm, 1,735mm, 1,685mm and 2,700mm.
Emgrand EC8 GSG	The model was introduced for the first time at the show. It is a micro-hybrid sedan (C-class 5-seater). It will start volume production at the Jinan plant in Shandong province in June 2010 at the earliest. It runs on the Geely GSG and a 2.0L or 2.4 L δ-series gasoline engine, or 2.0L ω-series diesel engine produced in-house combined with a 6-speed MT, 6-speed AT or 7-speed DCT. The model is equipped with a Dual CPU type GPS. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,905mm, 1,830mm, 1,495mm and 2,805mm.
Emgrand EX7 GSG	The model debuted at the show. It is a micro hybrid version of a city use SUV (with 3 row 5+2 seats). The production will start at the Chengdu plant in August 2010. It runs on the Geely GSG in combination with a 1.8 L or 2.0L gasoline engine, or a 2.0L diesel engine (these 4-cylinder engines are produced in-house) and a 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, 6-speed AT or 7-speed DCT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,545mm, 1,832mm, 1,671mm and 2,660mm.
Emgrand EX8 GSG	The model debuted at the show. It is a micro-hybrid version of a large-sized crossover (full-size type with seven seats) with both SUV and MPV functions. Production of the model will start at the Chengdu plant in December 2010. It runs on the Geely GSG and a 2.4L δ-series gasoline engine, or 2.0L ω-series diesel engine (which are 4-cylinder engines produced in-house) combined with a 6-speed MT, 6-speed AT or 7-speed DCT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,839mm, 1,884mm, 1,715mm and 2,800mm.
Emgrand EV8 GSG	The model is a micro hybrid version of a large-sized MPV (with 3 row six, seven or eight seats). In December 2010, the model will be put on the production line at the Jinan plant in Shandong province. It runs on the Geely GSG and a 2.4L gasoline engine, or 2.0L diesel engine produced in-house combined with a 6-speed MT, 6-speed AT or 7-speed DCT. The overall length, overall width, height and wheelbase measure 4,840mm, 1,830mm, 1,750mm and 2,950mm.

Geely is also enhancing the products' safety adopting the GTSM (Geely Total Safety Management), GESC (Geely Electronic Stability Control and the BMBS (Blow-out Monitoring and Brake System) etc., which are being developed independently, for new models in the future including exhibits listed above.

Gleagel GC3	The model is the successor to the Geely's world strategic model, CK (Free Cruiser) (compact 5-seater sedan). Around 2011, production of the model will start at the Lanzhou plant in Ganshu province. It adopts a 1.0L, 1.3 L or 1.5L engine produced in-house combined with a 5-speed MT or 4-speed AT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,194mm, 1,680mm, 1,440mm and 2,434mm.
Englon SC5-RV ( CE-1)	The model is a hatchback. In around June 2010, production of the model will start at the Luqiao plant in Zhejiang province. It employs a 1.3 L (three versions) or 1.5L (two versions) 4-cylinder engine produced in-house combined with a 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, 4-speed AT or 7-speed DCT. Englon SX5 (CE-1A)	The model debuted at the show. The Geely's first SUV (5-seater version) model, which is also called as a crossover version of the Englon SC5-RV. Around December 2010, production of the model will begin at the Luqiao plant in Zhejiang province. It has a 1.3 L, 1.5L (β-series) or 1.5L 4-cylinder engine produced in-house combined with a 5-speed MT, 4-speed AT or 7-speed DCT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 3,919mm, 1,745mm, 1,505mm and 2,461mm.
Englon SC6	The model is the successor to Geely's strategic compact sedan, the KingKong. Around 2011, production of the model will start at the Luqiao plant in Zhejiang province. It runs on a 1.3 L (two versions) or 1.5L 4-cylinder engine produced in-house combined with a 5-speed MT or 4-speed AT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,335mm, 1,692mm, 1,435mm and 2,502mm.
Englon SV5 (CE-4)	The model is a MPV under development with seven seats in 3-row. Around 2011, production will begin at the Xiangtan plant in Hunan province. It runs on a 1.3 L or 1.5L β series 4-cylinder engine produced in-house combined with a 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, 4-speed AT or 7-speed DCT. Chery A3 ISG 3box	The model is a strong hybrid sedan (with five seats) based on the Chery A3. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,352mm, 1,794mm, 1,464mm and 2,550mm. The maximum speed is 160km/h. The fuel efficiency is improved by 30% compared to the gasoline engine version.
Chery A3 ISG 3box	The hybrid system combines an integrated starter generator (ISG) used for the idle-stop mechanism and regenerative brake, a permanent magnet synchronous motor (rated output of 11kW/maximum 16.5kW and rated torque of 66Nm/maximum 98Nm), a Ni-H secondary battery (rated voltage of 144V and capacity of 6Ah) and 1.3L straight-4 engine (maximum output of 65kW and maximum torque of 118Nm) etc.
Riich G5 EV	The model is an EV sedan (with five seats) based on the Riich G5. It cruises up to 280km at a constant speed on a full charge. The energy efficiency (electricity consumption rate) is 16kWh/100km. The maximum speed is 140km/h. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,717mm, 1,794mm, 1,473mm and 2,700mm. The gross vehicle mass is 2,150kg.
	It uses a replaceable lithium-ion battery (with capacity of 120Ah and voltage of 336V) and a permanent magnet synchronous motor (with rated output of 45kW/ maximum 90kW). It takes 2 minutes to replace the battery, and eight hours normally to charge it fully.
	(Note) Chery Automobile jointly works with the US Better Place, who has technologies on charging EV's battery and replacing batteries, on the EV technology development in the Chinese market to develop a prototype EV with a replaceable battery.
Riich M1 EV	The model is an EV hatchback (with four seats) based on the Riich M1. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 3,601mm, 1,587mm, 1,527mm and 2,330mm. It uses a lithium iron phosphate lithium-ion battery (with capacity of 60Ah and voltage of 336V) and a permanent magnet synchronous motor (with rated output of 30kW/maximum 40kW). It takes 45 minutes to charge the battery quickly and fully at an exclusive charging facility, and six to eight hours to charge the battery normally. It cruises up to 160km at a constant speed on a full charge. The top speed is 120km/h. The energy efficiency (electricity consumption rate) is 14kWh/100km.

Chery Automobile's Riich G5 EV: It adopts replaceable lithium-ion battery.

Exhibit	Summary
Riich G5	The model is a new B class sedan. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,717mm, 1,794mm, 1,473mm and 2,700mm. It employs a 2.0 L TCI or 2.0L TGDI with turbocharger version of ACTECO engines produced in-house combined with a 6-speed MT, or 1.8L VVT version of ACTECO engine combined with a 5-speed MT. The model with a 2.0L TCI engine was released in April 2010 (priced at 142,800 to 156,800 RMB). The release time of the models with 2.0L TGDI engine (priced at 152,800 to 166,800 RMB) and with 1.8L VVT engine has not been set yet.
Riich G3	The model is a new sedan introduced for the first time at the show. There are plans to launch it around the latter half of 2010. The selling prices are expected to be 90,000 RMB or lower for the 1.3L version and 100,000 RMB or higher for 1.8L VVT version. It runs on a 1.3 L engine, 13s super-charger version, or a 1.8L engine, VVT ACTECO engine produced in-house, combined with a 5-speed MT or CVT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,598mm, 1,760mm, 1,483mm and 2,600mm.
Rely V8	The model is a light duty van with 3-row seven seats (the second row seats can be moved by 360 degrees). There are plans to launch it in the latter half of 2010. The selling price is expected to be 200,000 RMB more or less. It adopts a 2.0L TCI engine, an ACTECO engine, with turbocharger, manufactured in-house, combined with a 5-speed AT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 5,055mm, 1,820mm, 1,854mm and 2,998mm.
Karry Yo-yo DE version	The model is a mini-sized van (with five to eight seats) with the first 1.0L compact diesel engine in the country. There are plans to launch it in the latter half of 2010. It uses an in-house produced 1.0 L ACTECO 3-cylinder diesel engine with a common rail (maximum output of 40kW and maximum torque of 130Nm) combined with 5-speed MT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 3,993mm, 1,607mm, 1,908mm and 2,600mm.

Haval SC60 (HEV)	The model is a hybrid version of high class SUV developed independently (with five seats and a fulltime 4WD system). It debuted at the show. There are plans to release it in 2012. The model is equipped with ESP, an ACC (adaptive cruise control) system and a night view system. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,788mm, 1,931mm, 1,815mm and 2,915mm.
Haval SC60 (HEV)	Great Wall Motor owns the intellectual property of the hybrid system (maximum output of 200kW and maximum torque of 530Nm). The system consists of a 2.5L engine produced in-house (185kW/375Nm), a 6-speed AT, a permanent magnet synchronous motor (38kW/180Nm) and so on.
Great Wall Motor's full hybrid system	The system was displayed as a reference model. Its intellectual property belongs to Great Wall Motor. The system delivers a maximum output of 90kW and maximum torque of 270Nm. The hybrid system uses a 1.5 L straight four VVT aluminum engine (77kW/138Nm) produced in-house, a permanent magnet synchronous motor (30kW/150Nm), an AT also manufactured by the company and so on.

Exhibit (development code)	Summary
Haval H5 ZhiZunBan	The model is a fully redesigned new CUV (medium-sized SUV) based on the Haval H5, which obtained the type approval of the UK VCA in August 2009. It debuted at the show. The model is expected to be launched in the latter half of 2010 with a price tag of 200,000 RMB or less. There are plans to use during the initial stage a 2.4 L (4G69S4N) engine, which is built according to Mitsubishi specification (combined with 5-speed MT), with a 2.5 TCI gasoline engine or a 2.0L 4D20 diesel engine, produced in-house, to be added at a later date. The model is furnished with a torque control system (TCS) and engine immobilizer mechanism. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,650mm, 1,800mm, 1,755mm and 2,700mm.
Haval M3	The model is a 4WD compact SUV. It was introduced for the first time at the show. The model is expected to be launched in 2011 with a selling price of around 100,000 RMB. It adopts a 1.5L VVT engine produced in-house combined with a 4-speed AT. The model will come with the immobilizer mechanism and a GPS car navigation system. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,240mm, 1,768mm, 1,705mm and 2,580mm.
Voleex C30 (CH041)	The model is the first sedan that the company is to produce. It is an A-class sedan, which is the company's world strategic model (development was conducted to meet the European standards, and took three years). It was introduced for the first time at the show. It was released at the same time across the world in April 2010 (the domestic sales price ranges from 60,000 to 120,000 RMB). It runs on a 1.5L VVT engine, produced in-house, combined with a CVT made by Punch in Belgium. The model is furnished with a sunroof, leather seats and engine immobilizer mechanism. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,452mm, 1,705mm, 1,480mm and 2,610mm.
Voleex C30 (CH041)	Incidentally, the company disclosed that it would release the Voleex C35, a compact model, in the near future, although it was not showcased this time.
Voleex C50	The model is a new B class sedan. It was introduced for the first time at the show. There are plans to release the model in the first quarter of 2011. It runs on a 1.5L turbo-charged engine, produced in-house, combined with a 5-speed MT or a CVT. The model will come with a sunroof and GPS car navigation system. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,638mm, 1,775mm, 1,450mm and 2,700mm.

(Note) The UK VCA (Vehicle Certification Agency) is an authority in the UK, who provides type approval for vehicles.

Lifan 620 EV	The model is an EV sedan that was developed by Shanghai Zhongke-Lifan EV Co., LTD., a joint venture with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and manufactured in March 2010. 25 vehicles of the model were provided as official security cars for the EXPO 2010 Shanghai China, which have been ongoing since May 2010. There are also road tests being carried as taxi cabs in Shanghai and Chongqing. There are plans to start volume production at the Shanghai plant joint venture in 2010. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,550mm, 1,705mm, 1,495mm and 2,605mm.
	The installed motor produces a rated output of 20kW/maximum output of 47kW, rated torque of 76Nm/maximum torque of 150Nm with rated voltage of 307V. It is capable of running up to 160km (reportedly 200km according to other source) on a full charge. The maximum speed is 120km/h. The energy efficiency (with electricity expenditure rate) is 15kWh/100km. It takes 15 minutes to charge the battery up to 70% at an exclusive charging facility and seven hours to charge it fully using household electricity (220V).
	For further energy efficiency improvement, the second generation of the Lifan 620EV has a planned weight reduction through the use of carbon-fiber body parts. The carbon-fiber technology will be introduced by the Institute of Materials, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Lifan 320 EV	The model is an EV based on the Lifan 320. It is planned to be produced at both the Chongqing plant and the Shanghai plant joint venture. The selling price is expected to be 150,000 RMB. The maximum cruising range is 150km on a full charge. The top speed is 100km/h. The energy efficiency (electricity consumption rate) is 16kWh/100km. The life of core parts such as the secondary battery is longer than 10,000km of the vehicle usage.

Lifan Foison	The model is the first mini-sized van for the company, of which development took four years. It was released across the country in April 2010 (test-marketed from February 2010), targeting mainly small and medium cities and farming community markets. The selling price ranges from 32,500 to 42,880 RMB. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,015mm, 1,600mm, 1,900mm and 2,525mm.
Lifan Foison	The model employs a 1.3L 4-cylinder engine developed jointly with Ricardo in the UK. The overall fuel efficiency (electricity consumption rate) is 7.5L/100km. The rear-row seats can be combined freely. The interior volume has a maximum of 4,240L. The 1.0L engine version of the model will be released additionally in late May 2010, being followed by a CNG engine version in late September of the same year.
Lifan SUV	The model is the company's first SUV (5-door 5-seater version). There are expectations to put the model on the volume production line by the beginning of 2011, with an expected selling price of 80,000 to 110,000 RMB. It runs on a 1.6L or 1.8L VVT engine combined with a 5-speed MT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,325mm, 1,790mm, 1,666 (1691) mm and 2,605mm.

Heyue PHEV	The model was introduced for the first time at the show. It is a range extended PHEV sedan (with five seats). There are plans to put it on the production line by 2012. The selling price is expected to be 150,000 RMB or higher. The fuel tank capacity is 30L. The maximum speed is 120km/h. The maximum cruising range in the EV mode is 50km. The energy efficiency (electricity consumption rate) at a constant speed of 50km/h is 13kWh/100km (improved by 30% compared to the gasoline version of the model). The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,590mm, 1,765mm, 1,465mm and 2,710mm.
Heyue PHEV	The hybrid system, configured as a series type, combines a 1.0L 3-cylinder VVT-i gasoline engine (maximum output of 32kW and maximum torque of 84Nm) for charging battery, a permanent magnet synchronous motor (rated voltage of 250/320/380V, rated output of 35kW/maximum 60kW) for driving, ISG motor (rated output of 23kW/maximum 30kW), a lithium iron phosphate lithium-ion battery module (total capacity of 10kWh with cell capacity of 30Ah).
Vision IV (PHEV)	The model was introduced for the first time at the show. It is a concept car (A-class) of PHEV of which development was started in November 2009 and completed in March 2010 by the company's development center in Italy. The hybrid system is equipped with a solar generation system using solar panels on the sunroof, a lithium-ion battery, energy regenerative brakes etc. The battery can be charged in several ways including from solar energy, engine and household electric source (220V).

(Note) It was reported that the company planned to present an EV based on the Tongyue toward the end of 2010 at the earliest, although the model was not showcased at the show.

Refine Hechang	The model was introduced for the first time at the show. The model is a new large-sized high class MPV (seven-seater version), the fully remodeled Refine, for official affairs or business use. The model is expected to be launched by the end of 2010 with a price tag of 170,000 to 180,000 RMB. It runs on a 2.0L TCI (turbo charger with inter-cooler) engine produced in-house, which was awarded the prize of one of the top 10 models of the 2009 Chinese brand engines, combined with a 5-speed AT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 5,100mm, 1,840mm, 1,970mm and 3,080mm.
Binyue 2010 model	The model is a new fully remodeled Binyue (2010 year model), the company's C-class strategic sedan. Improvement was undertaken on a total of 32 items, including the exterior, interior, chassis, equipment, and so on. It was released in March 2010 with a price tag of 88,800 to 149,700 RMB. It runs on a 2.0L or 2.4L engine combined with a MT or AT. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,865mm, 1,805mm, 1,450mm and 2,790mm.
Yueyue 1.0L	The model is a new hatchback (A0-class) targeting young people. It is expected to be released in August 2010 with a selling price of 30,000 to 40,000 RMB. It runs on a 1.0L engine (maximum output of 50kW and maximum torque of 95Nm) combined with an AMT or 5-speed MT. The foldable rear seats are equipped as standard. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 3,535mm, 1,640mm, 1,475mm and 2,390mm.
Heyue RS 1.8AT	The model is a new version of the Heyue RS (B-class medium-sized hatchback), which employs a 1.8L VVT engine manufactured by Harbin Dong'an according to Mitsubishi's 4G93D specifications combined with a 4-speed AT. It was jointly developed with Pininfarina in Italy and there are plans to launch it in the latter half of 2010. The annual sales volume is targeted at over 120,000 combined with the sedan version (the Heyue 3box) which is positioned as a strategic model of JAC. The overall length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4,550mm, 1,775mm, 1,660mm and 2,710mm.
