In English, just as "5S" is usually translated as "house keeping", often times we find many companies simply begin and end their house keeping by conducting only enough activities to "clean their plants and make things tidy". However, just as almost all the Kaizen Activity programs conducted around the world always include both 5S and Visual Control, these programs also are vitally important as activities for "Production Foundation Making" at companies.
